We had a pretty elaborate plan: sell my condo and purchase a new (and larger one) for my partner and I. This was a logistically complex task, and Micky was invaluable in giving us the advice we needed even if it was not always what we wanted to hear. We just got our keys last week! We started looking in April this year, and made 3 offers before we got our house. Jesbian was very communicative throughout our process. When we first started she spent over 2 hours going through the process/what to expect and answering our questions about how it all works. At every step she gave her reasons for any piece of advice or request she gave us. We were a bit passive at first and she gave us “homework” that helped us become more active and serious about getting into a home this year. Although we chose to look exclusively at houses below our official budget Jesbian never pressured us to buy more house than we were comfortable with. We backed out of one contract due to the inspections and Jesbian talked us through getting our earnest money back and validated our decisions without judgement (though I bet it was frustrating for her that we backed out).

Every time she advised us to offer more money or remove contingencies she ended up being right (judging from the winning offers on houses we didn’t get, or didn’t offer on). Her comps were always accurate to final sale prices.

She often texted or called us back at night and on weekends (when does she get a break??) when we had random questions or concerns. She moved extremely quickly when we saw houses we wanted to offer on.

As a side note, as a queer couple we felt very happy and comfortable working with Jesbian.
